The 2013 National Veterans Wheelchair Games will begin July 13 in Tampa, FL, co-sponsored by the PVA and the VA. First time OIF/OEF/OND participants in the games may be eligible for a grant to defray costs of travel. Veterans unemployment rates have been cut in half (down to 7.2%), but there’s still room for improvement.
